Telegram remote
Add and control downloads from a Telegram bot, and get notified when they finish.
SQDM can take commands from a Telegram bot you create. It only ever connects out to Telegram (long polling); it never opens a port on your computer.
Set it up
- In Telegram, create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token.
- Preferences → Telegram (under Advanced): paste the token and turn the bot on. The token is stored encrypted.
- Send
/pairto your bot from your own chat. The request appears in SQDM — approve it. Chats you haven’t approved are ignored.

Notifications
Approved chats can get a message when a download completes (name, size, time, average speed), fails (with the reason), or when a data cap warning fires. Each type can be turned off.
